BUSHMASTER IS Fully Australian built in Campbellfield Vic. Australia. Our caravans are sensibly priced, loaded with stuff, and not too heavy. The checker plate cladding is about 40%. lighter than the smooth sides that you see on most caravans. It Withstands the damage from outback roads better. It is hail proof and easy to repair if you scratch it. All our caravans are aluminium framed. All models ordered after 1 of NOV 2024 will include 4 X 200 AMP lithium batteries , 30amp DC – DC charger , and a 43 amp 240v to 12v charger. 3,000 Watt inverter, 5 solar panels total 970w of solar, 3x95 lt main water tanks, individual separate filling, Just fill one tank, Two Tanks or all three, plus 50 lt. drinking water tank TO CARRY YOUR RAIN WATER., grey water tank is included 274 Litre 2 door compressor fridge, all our windows and roof hatch's are double glazed and a white one piece aluminium roof keeps the caravan cooler.

Hello, I am Terry Ryan, I was born in Murwillumbah on the Tweed River, northern NSW. My parents had a dairy farm out in the hills near a little village called “UKI” at the foot of Mt Warning. After high school I studied engineering, then cabinet making and wood carving.
Soon my desire to travel around Australia kicked in and in my little home made caravan and my 1965 Valiant. I took to the road. It was the first time I saw a shell tanker with three trailers “a road train. "My god the rocks were flying up from his wheels and the dust. " We just had to stop and let the dust settle.
Well, the road across the Nullabor Plain was pretty crude particularly the South Australian side, bare earth, not even gravel.
My first caravan made it across the Nullabor in the early 1970s when the Nullabor was the toughest thing a caravan could do. Most people I knew thought I was crazy, ha ha great song.
The Western Australia side was corrugated gravel and then up to Darwin was mostly dirt roads again and then across the top to Cairns, we saw black top (tar road).some of the time
There were no 4wds towing caravans at that time. So we hooked up our caravans to our holden, falcon, or our Valiant. We kept our tyre pressures low and never broke a thing. The day I took this picture the temp. was 48 deg c . We had just crossed the SA / WA border.
1980 I built my own suspension under a trailer to take camping and to carry my musical instruments to gigs around the country. It has two sets of coil springs on each wheel and two sets of shockers on each wheel. I still have the trailer at my factory and I use it every week (at least) and it has done countless miles and it is still all in tact.
I called the suspension ROLLING THUNDER, it sounded like a good name for a bass player’s trailer. This suspension has been upgraded and is still available on our Wild Wheels model.
Life went on and I found myself selling caravans in Brisbane southside but the urge to work for myself took ove, I started building off-road camper trailers and moved it to Bundaberg.
The business grew and grew, soon KOALA off road campers led to building BUSHMASTE ROFF-ROAD CARAVANS.
In 2005 I was off to the big smoke of the caravan industry “Campbellfield” in Melbourne, Victoria where you can still find me in the workshop, building someones pride and joy.
The greatest joy apart from making a living with my own ideas and my own hands, is opening my phone to a happy voice telling me where they have traveled to and how much they love their Bushmaster.
I count my customers as great friends, Priceless Friends who keep sending new customers to my door.
I am forever thankful for the good luck I have had in my life.
